FAQS

At Clove Counseling, we believe therapy is for anyone and everyone: therapy helps us become more compassionate toward ourselves and those around us. Our approach focuses on creating a safe and supportive environment where both partners can explore their pasts, understand how these experiences shape their current relationship dynamics, and work together to foster communication, trust, and emotional intimacy.
-
Most therapy sessions last for about one hour—but we have the option for Intensives, when the time surpasses 60 minutes toward 90 minutes or more.

The Clove Counseling approach is truly tailored to each individual. We believe in meeting clients where they are and doing the work collaboratively. Our team will work with clients through the best framework for their individual needs, which may include Emotional Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Psychodynamic Theory. If other frameworks work best for the client, we will explore those at that time. Our style often includes breathing exercises throughout the session when needed, as we all forget that breathing impacts our bodies and assists us through a mental health crisis moment.
